Timothy J. Bauer, O.D.
Dr. Timothy J. Bauer was born in Beatrice, NE and graduated from University of Nebraska-Kearney with a BS in Biology in 1988. Dr. Bauer received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1992. Dr. Bauer began his optometric career as a Captain in the United States Air Force stationed at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO from 1992-1995. He worked with the cadets as well as in the local hospital. Dr. Bauer moved to Aspen, CO in 1995 and worked with Dr. Eberhardt until he took over as a sole practitioner in 2000. In 2005 he purchased Dr. Eberhardt's practice and merged them as Aspen Vision Source and Carbondale Vision Source.

David A. Eberhardt, O.D.
Dr. David A. Eberhardt was born in the small town of Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin. Dr. Eberhardt received his undergraduate degree at Wisconsin State University and received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Illinois College of Optometry in 1969. Dr. Eberhardt also served our country in the Army from 1971 to 1974 at Fort Carson, Colorado; Okinawa, Japan; and Fort Knox, Kentucky. Dr. Eberhardt returned to private practice in Fort Collins, Colorado, before moving to Aspen in 1976, and then to Carbondale in 1987.
Dr. Eberhardt belongs to Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity, which travels to other countries to provide vision care and provide donated eyeglasses to those individuals in need. He also currently serves on the board of the Roaring Fork Public Education Foundation. |

Robert L. Sorrell, O.D., FAAO
Dr. Sorrel graduated from Miami University in Oxford with a degree in Chemistry and Zoology. He then graduated from the Ohio State College of Optometry. He is currently on hospital staff at Atrium Medical Center- formerly Middletown Regional Hospital and the Dayton Veterans Affairs hospital in Dayton. Dr. Sorrell is on teaching staff at The Ohio State College of Optometry, University of Indiana College of Optometry and Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. He has served on The Ohio State Board of Optometry and has been President of the Association of Regulatory Boards in Optometry. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and has served on the Federal Relations Committee, member of the Ohio Optometric Association, and has acheived Fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry. He is currently doing research in glaucoma and is a member of the Optometric Glaucoma Society.

Sarah
Sarah is the Office Manager for both our Carbondale and Aspen locations. She is the expert on insurance claims as well as billing and can answer any questions.

Jessica, ABOC
Jessica is our office's contact lens expert and ABO certificatied optician. Go to Jessica to get advice on what frame best complements your looks and needs. She maintains the contact lens room and teaches new patients to insert and remove their contacts.
Jessica has lived in Aspen since February of 2008 and has worked in our office since September of 2008. |

LeAnne
LeAnne is the doctors' medical assisant. She is available at the front desk to answer phones, take appointments and perform the pre-testing of patients before their exam. LeAnne helps the doctors stay on schedule and assists with various procedures.
LeAnne is originally from Seattle, Washington and has lived in the valley since fall of 2008. |

Mark, ABOC
Mark is our licensed and highly experienced optician. He received his ABO certification in 2005. Mark's expertise enables him to assist patients with advice and expertise as they choose eyecare to meet their individual needs. His extensive experience also allows him to perfom most eyeglass repairs that may be needed.
Mark has lived in the valley since 2004.
